Should you do a diet cheat day?

Can you imagine being able to eat whatever you wanted once a week?

Tempting uh?

I am asked a lot about it, especially by my male clients.

To answer this question I am going to let you know that this was created by the body building community in the 80s.

It has no scientific data behind it.

Imagine that once a week you drink alcohol, eat sugar and so on.

The damage done to your blood, arteries, cells and every single part of your body will result in inflammation.

The inflammatory process will take days to get back to normal and one doing it on a regular basis will result in a lot of damage.

So I can also see no meaning in eating “crap” to fit in.

If one has the need to destroy his or her body, it is because he or she hasn’t learnt yet how to eat healthily and above all to respect the body and soul.

When one is in balance, food choices like a doughnut won’t be even close to their requirements.

So next time someone says that you need a cheat day ask them why.

I bet you they don’t even know what they are doing.
