Physiology and its importance in Outdoor Personal Training

Exercise

The technical definition of the term physiology is :

“Physiology is the study of normal function within living creatures. It is a subsection of biology, covering a range of topics that include organs, anatomy, cells, biological compounds, and how they all interact to make life possible.”

Basically, imagine a car mechanic, he or she needs to know everything about a car and its parts. Every function and also the problems that can happen and how to make the car work at its peak condition.

Imagine you take your car to be served, and the mechanic doesn't know what to do.

Not good.

So as a trainer, I need to know how the muscles, bones, and all their structures work.

It’s the same for nutrition and its impact on the bodily machine.

As you can see, it is vital to understand the human body.

It sounds complicated, but the body follows natural laws that make sense when you see them in action.

Basically, we need raw materials to create a healthy system.

So it all starts with proper nutrition so the body can work and function its best.

Then comes movement and exercise, and this one should be one at the right intensity and frequency.

Not too much, not too little.

So diet and body create your mental state.

You can be very holistic and see that planet earth has its own physiology, that is not separate from you and me. We are integral to it.

And planet earth’s physiology is part of our galaxy’s physiology.

And our galaxy’s physiology is part of the universe’s physiology.

So, in reality, there is only one thing.

It is up to me and you to do it right.

Whatever you do has the power to change the cosmos.

As you can see, it is vital to understand the human body.
